We were told that as long as we were 20 mikes from the blast, we were safe!
My mother had many health issues and i still have them. But I am 70 so really cant complain too much
My mother and I were present for two bomb blasts but we lived most of the time in Adelaide.
My mother was born in 1910 in Wirrulla and I was born in 1943 in Adelaide.
I now live in Canada
I have a cousin still farming in the area and he has many stories about Woomera and area.
